In Riva del Garda winners are Mostini-Allain, Marchesini-Finato and Salvatore-Rizzi

Riva del Garda – The 2025 29er EuroCup – The Finals, an event organized by Fraglia Vela Riva in collaboration with the International 29er Class Association, concluded with fourteen valid races. One hundred and fifty crews representing nineteen nations gathered on the Alto Benaco shore. This is a remarkable overall tally, especially considering the event spanned four days. Credit must be given to the Race Committee, led by PRO Adolfo Villani, and the Fraglia Vela Riva team, led by Technical Manager Fausto Maroni.

Today, during a day that began at 9:00 a.m. under the gusts of the Peler and ended at 3:30 p.m. with the gusts of the Ora, four races were completed, defining the rankings and also determining the rankings of the international circuit reserved for this dynamic youth doubles team, which in 2025 awarded Riva del Garda the European title.

The winners of the Garda stage, the tenth stage of the 2025 29er EuroCup, were Frenchmen Alexandre Mostini and Raphael Allain, returning to the lead for good after losing on the penultimate day to Swiss riders Ikke Huber and Liam Berger, who struggled more than expected today and dropped from first to fourth place. Overtaking them for second place were Englishmen Jack Bailey and Ben Sinfield, finishing twenty-two points behind the winners. Third place went to Swiss riders Jacob Ryu Brundler and Thierry Stucki. The best of the Italians were Giuseppe Montesano and Enrico Coslovich (C.V. Muggia), who finished fifth, just three points shy of the podium.

Italian success was achieved among the mixed pairs, thanks to Emilia Salvatore and Pietro Rizzi (S.C.G. Salò) finishing seventh overall, and in the women’s race, Bianca Marchesini and Lucia Finato (F.V. Malcesine and F.V. Riva) took the win, placing tenth overall: a victory with double significance considering the fact that the two Italian sailors are Under 17. Speaking of the Under 17 crews, following Marchesini and Finato’s success, the British sailors Greenhalgh and Sinfield celebrated victory among the men, and the Czechs Lara Nemcova and Kristian Bezusek among the mixed pairs.

The 2025 Racing Season of Fraglia Vela Riva is supported by Suzuki, SLAM, Negrinautica, ITAS Assicurazioni, Rothoblass, and Garda Trentino.
