Sorpasso in extremis nella classifica cadetti del Lake Garda Meeting Optimist, chiusosi ieri nelle acque del Benaco. L'azzurro Ettore Botticini, primo in graduatoria fino a ieri mattina, è stato infatti superato all'ultimo dal greco Alexander Kavas, vincitore di entrambe le frazioni disputate nel giorno di Pasqua. Nessuna novità invece in campo juniores: la vittoria nell'ultima frazione non è stata sufficiente al danese Jes Lyhne Bonde per spodestare l'italiano Davide Bianchini dalla testa della classifica. Terzo l'altro danese Jens Marten, quarto il trentino Ruggero Tita.

With two great performances in tha last races of the Lake Garda Meeting Optimist the young Greek Alexander Kavas passed yesterday former leader Ettore Botticini and won the Division A (born in 1996-1997) regatta. The Italian, who was on the top of ranking until yesterday morning, closed in second place. No surprises in the Division B (born in 1992-1995) classification: the win in the last race wasn't enough for Danish Jes Lyhne Bonde to pass Italian Davide Bianchini. Third in the ranking was the other Dane Jens Marten, fourth the talented Ruggero Tita. This year edition of Lake Garda Optimist, closed yesterday afternoon in the Garda Trentino waters, was another big success for the Fraglia Vela Riva organization: 707 the sailors that took part at the biggest event worldwide for the Optimist class.
