The Riva leg of the 29er Eurocup is the eighth and last of the European Circuit with other legs having been held in Spain, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Great Britain. The 29er skiff is geared toward youngsters as a predecessor to the 49er Olympic class. Every year the the 29er Eurocup at Riva del Garda (the only Italian leg on the tour), becomes a more and more important event and this year it will be held alongside the new women's 49er FX Olympic class.
